CRITERIA
1. Student must have a notarized current Parent Permission/Physical form before try-outs.
2. Student must have a minimum 2.0 GPA
EVALUATION
Weather permitting, baseball try-outs are generally conducted during the third week of February. Prospects are evaluated on their body mechanics while hitting, fielding, throwing, and running. Strength, power, speed, quickness, agility, and consistency are among the main components desired while performing these skills. Hustle, attitude, potential for development, and classroom behavior are subjective criteria which also are major considerations. The final roster consists of 15-16 boys.
Dates try-outs start: February 16 , 2010 beginning at 3:00.
