CHORUS NEWS

Dear Parents,

 

I was so happy to have met you at our New Student Orientation.  Many students that have attended Bruner Middle School have found it to be a great experience and see (some, years later) that a firmer foundation has been laid for their education.  It is my desire to help lay that foundation and to make your students’ middle school years filled with positive memories.  My perspective of middle school is to help launch students into those areas that will help make them excel and attain heights that have not been attained. Research has shown that students who are active in music will be much more likely to achieve those heights.

 

Bruner is a great middle school with some great students, faculty, and administration, if I might say so myself. Yet the school cannot be anything without parental involvement. Please put the date of September 8 th on your calendar.  This is the Tuesday after Labor Day.  This meeting will include a lot of information about the upcoming year: uniforms, trips, chaperone needs, expenses, etc.  We will meet at 6:30 in the Chorus Room.

 

Once again, it was great to meet you and I look forward to seeing you September 8 th, a Tuesday evening, at 6:30 pm in the Chorus Room. I am also looking forward to another great year at Bruner with your student.

PARENT REMINDER

All students must have a uniform in order to perform for concerts. Remember concerts are mandatory and students who do not have a uniform will not perform.
